Our story
Cedarwood Distribution was founded in Eugene, Oregon in 1982 to provide high-quality shakes and shingles at value prices.
Our mission is to deliver the best possible service — with fast turn-around times, responsiveness to customer needs, and helpful educational resources.
Since 2016, we’ve been a family-owned business focused on helping local lumber yards and roofers become heroes to their customers.
Cedarwood Products is part of the Cedarwood Inc. family of companies, including Craft Shingles, Stout Steel, and other building materials.
Our team
Randy Stout, President
A Eugene native, Randy is a lifetime business owner and a longstanding industry veteran. He currently owns Cedarwood and a crate and pallet company.
Randy ensures his team has all the tools they need to succeed.
In his free time, you will find Randy flying airplanes, helping other business owners grow through the Eugene Executives Association, and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Alan Stout, Vice President
Alan grew up watching his dad successfully run multiple businesses.
Now as part owner, Alan takes pride in making sure Cedarwood keeps its promises. He loves building relationships with customers and vendors, learning, and sharing his knowledge of cedar.
In his free time, you’ll find Alan cooking, fly fishing, playing music, and enjoying time with his wife and four children.
Cassie Day, Cedar Sales Manager
Cassie is an Oregon native who came to Cedarwood from the healthcare industry.
She works with regional mills to source top-quality product at a great price. Cassie also ensures our customers get exactly what they need: right materials and accessories, right amount, and right delivery time.
In her free time, Cassie is often fishing, crabbing or coaching a variety of sports for her two kids.
Mike Flippin, Warehouse Manager & Outside Sales
Mike has worked in many industries throughout his life and has found his home at Cedarwood. Mike loves to meet new people and it is a rare sight to see him sitting down.
He genuinely cares about making sure customers find exactly what they are looking for — down to the most exacting details.
In his free time, Mike loves helping friends and neighbors with projects and exploring the great outdoors.
